It was a computer program called "Game Maker" and it was 2006 when I found it.
The software has changed drastically since I was using it but I am happy it is still developed. See it at gamemaker.io.
Here is a short collection of projects I have made using Game Maker. My time with this software is precious to me and my initial intent to put this archive together is because I want it uploaded somewhere public.
This is how my creative path began. This is when I first met Adobe Photoshop and 3D modelling software (I enjoyed building my own characters in 3D and "painting" them in Photoshop).
Later on I would even sell my first and only completely finished computer game!
Lets see some memories now...
Project "Funky", 2012
This is the game I believe I have spent most time working on. It has been in and out on this for over 3 years until I finally just dropped it together with any game development. It went through many iterations and changed a lot since I started it. It even had a somewhat full version, too, which is "Sheeped" that you can see if you continue browsing this post.
I originally started making this game after I played a game by a fellow member of the Game Maker Community. It was Hover Tank 3D by Martin Crownover. He had a big impact on what I did back in the day and was like a guru to many of us in the community. Martin (FredFredrickson), if you are ever reading this, thank you!
All graphics are made by myself. I used Anim8or for the 3D models and Adobe Photoshop for the textures.

Project Blob (icy tower game), 2012
All graphics are self made.

Sheeped, 2009
action shooter with fancy guys driving fancy vehicles and using sheep, pigs and brains as weapons.
All graphics are self made. And the main menu was hugely inspired by the game World of Goo by 2D Boy.

Valhus, 2009
Volleyball game for two players on the same computer. Again inspired by World of Goo by 2D Boy. Man I loved this game graphics, you should check it out on Steam.
All graphics are self made.

* most of the megabytes here are because of the soundtrack mp3s haha
Intenze, 2008
Top-down shooter that has a multiplayer mode, which can be only played on LAN (local network) but down't actually work and you can only go around and shoot, haha. It was too glitchy and I never finished it.
(my username was "dmitko" back in the days... see the credits)
Pure Action CTF, 2007
My first full game. And it was 3D... I felt like a badass game dev MF! Even got paid for two copies of the game by my fellow friends, something like $5 per copy haha. But I also managed to sell my source code later for a whole $20! This made me open my first "bank account" which was PayPal. I was 16yo then and got something going on for me already haha. The feeling was crazy.
First-person shooter where two teams (red and blue, of course) go around small levels seeking to terminate each other trying to capture the enemy flag, thus CTF (capture the flag). And no, there is no "pure action" at all haha, but many many glitches exist. Can be played on LAN, too.
