My digital designs are created first and foremost for personal making, learning, and enjoyment.
They are meant for fellow makers who love building things with their own hands at home, in the workshop, or simply for the joy of the process.

When you purchase a digital design from Paladim Studio, you are buying a personal use license by default.

What a personal use allows

A personal use license allows you to:

   ✓ Make physical objects for yourself
   ✓ Build the project for learning, practice, or experimentation
   ✓ Gift the finished physical item to friends or family
   ✓ Modify the design for your own personal needs

This license is perfect for hobbyists, DIY enthusiasts, and makers who build for passion rather than profit.

 

What personal use does not allow

A personal use license does not allow you to:

   ✕ Sell physical products made from the design
   ✕ Accept commissions or paid orders using the design
   ✕ Resell, share, or redistribute the digital files
   ✕ Use my photos, renders, or branding

The digital files themselves always remain my intellectual property.

Want to sell what you make?

If you wish to sell physical products made from one of my designs whether through a small workshop, online shop, or local market you’ll need a commercial use license.

Commercial licenses are handled separately and fairly, with respect for small-scale makers.

A note on intent

I strongly believe that making comes before selling.
Personal use licenses exist to keep creativity accessible and affordable, while commercial licenses exist to ensure that original work is respected when it becomes part of a business.
