Made using the Aliencell X1 diode laser (60W module)

I designed this wall clock in collab with Aliencell. I wanted to make a new design for this new machine of mine and I wanted it to represent in a way an "alien cell", which on the other hand was inspired by my original "KLETKA" clock designs. And "kletka" means "cell" in Bulgarian [клетка]. So how I did, you be the judge of that!

This design is meant for personal use only, meaning you can download it and make a clock for yourself or friends or family but you cannot sell the physical clock, and you cannot sell the files.

 

Included Files:

- SVG: Scalable Vector Graphics for universal compatibility
- DXF: Detailed CAD-compatible format for precise cutting
- LightBurn: Optimized for LightBurn users
- Aliencell Space software - vectors are imported only, you need to select cutting speed and power according to your laser. I used 14mm/sec speed at 50W power on my 60W module

 

Materials & Assembly:

Designed for 3mm plywood or MDF, 4 layers. Includes detailed instructions for assembly. This is what you need to make it:

- 3mm plywood: 4 sheets sized mininum 31x31cm (I use birch BB/BB)
- CA glue and wood glue
- spray paint or wood stain (I used stain) and spray wood finish
- clock mechanism - shaft should be long enough to fit a 9mm face (I use shaft length of 11.5mm). You can also order one from me - DIY Clock Mechanism Kit
